  • Type locality: CR Cartago, 9 km nw Turrialba
    C. neonereidana is among the largest species in the genus. It is easily distinguished superficially from Costa Rican congeners by its large size, the nearly straight termen of the forewing (i.e., at ca. 80˚ angle with the costa), the pale brown costal patch with a slightly irregular outer margin, and the mostly white hindwing.
