Cloesia luzmariaromeroae is a widespread distributed species and is found from 450 to 1200 m elevation, along the Caribbean slope of Costa Rica, but much more abundant to the northern Caribbean area of the country.
This species is characterized by the lack of androconial organs on the abdomen and on hindwing.
