Seitz: L. veternosa Schs. (52 e) has blackish-brown forewings with black transverse lines bordered with reddish-yellow; the ring-macula is a white dot, the reniform macula a brown streak bordered with white on each side, inside narrowly, outside broadly; the undulate line is an irregular black shadow. Hindwing greyish brown. Costa Rica.
