Type locality: Costa Rica, Turrialba, 600 m

The species is characterized by a distinct spot in center of first fore wing lobe and a spot at base of cleft, combined with a distinct small saccular process in left valve of male genitalia and bursa copulatrix without signum in female genitalia.
