A smaller species. The colour pattern is well contrasted but lighter in colour: deep black and reddish orange. The reddish markings are almost complete: costa up to nearly the apex, internal border reddish nearly up to the tornus. The cellular patch entirely bordered by a black line. The hindwing base is largely suffused with light reddish orange (LAGUERRE M. 2023: Revision of the genus Lepidoneiva Travassos, 1940: resurrection of several species. Antenor 9(4), 143-160).
